Elon Musk Sells Social Media Site X to His AI Company xAI for a Staggering $33 Billion

"xAI and X’s futures are closely linked. We’re taking an official step today to merge our data, models, computing power, distribution channels, and expertise," Musk announced.

"The merged entity will provide more intelligent and significant experiences for billions of individuals while adhering to our fundamental objective of pursuing truth and enhancing understanding," he stated.

Musk stated that the transaction pegs xAI at $80 billion (€74 billion) and X at $33 billion (€30.5 billion).

Ambitions for xAI
