Bhootnath Hits the Screen: Sanjay Dutt Becomes a Ghostbuster, Mouni Roy Channels 'Naagin' in Upcoming Thriller

In the trailer for "The Bhootni," Sanjay Dutt takes the lead alongside an impressive lineup including Mouni Roy, Sunny Singh, Palak Tiwari, Aasif Khan, and YouTube star BeyouNick. Filled with amusing one-liners and thrilling action sequences, this movie revives the beloved horror-comedy genre favored by audiences.
The Bhootnii trailer Filled with side-splitting jokes, spine-tingling suspense, and plenty of Sanjay Dutt’s legendary coolness, he kicks off his role as a fearless paranormal exterminator right from the start in the trailer. Mouni plays Mohabbat, a mischievous spirit who throws back an inside joke referencing her famous Naagin character created by Ektaa Kapoor. It looks like Palak Tiwari will share romantic moments with Sunny Singh in this movie. The unveiling of the trailer took place during a grand gathering in Mumbai attended by every member of the cast. As the narrative progresses, Sunny’s role becomes increasingly intertwined with strange and eerie paranormal experiences that are simultaneously frightening and amusing, resulting in a cascade of unforeseen occurrences. Eagerly discussing the movie, Sunny shared, "A horror-comedy has been on my wish list for quite some time now. After reading the screenplay and meeting Sidhaant Sachdev, I fell in love with the whole idea. Knowing Sanju sir was involved assured me it would be an extraordinary journey. We often discussed venturing into comedy together, and this project seemed meant to be. The response to our poster from audiences has been overwhelmingly positive, as much as I enjoyed seeing it myself! While every horror comedy stands out individually, this one breaks new ground. Bhootni is helmed by director Sidhaant Sachdev and brought to life by producer Deepak Mukut. This movie promises an engrossing plot, offering a novel approach to the horror-comedy category. Look for its premiere in cinemas on April 18th.
