MQM's Hatred Politics Won't Be Tolerated, Says Sharjeel Memon

On Tuesday, Provincial Information Minister Sharjeel Memon stated that those criticizing others for lawlessness had previously been involved in such acts themselves. During a press briefing, Sharjeel Memon mentioned that the MQM admitted to having made errors in the past. He added, "In the past, you have taken countless children away from their mothers," addressing them directly.

"We won't permit the MQM to revive its outdated politics of hatred," stated Sharjeel Memon.

He stated that the MQM leadership is producing hate-filled remarks under the guise of dumper incidents within the city. "Karachi is regarded as the center for nationwide progress; we won't permit lawlessness in the city to resume under any circumstances," he emphasized.

In an interview with the press previously, MQM-Pakistan chief Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui stated, "We have curbed disorder in Karachi and we won’t cease doing so." He elaborated, saying, "Both the criminals and some members of law enforcement aren’t from this area, which fuels the chaos within our city." He also mentioned, "There are currently 52 police stations where non-native Station House Officers (SHOs) have been assigned.”
