When asked whether he believed Caicedo would excel in the Premier League, Mac Allister responded: "Yes, I was quite astonished when he moved on loan to Belgium."

'I was quite astonished since during practice sessions, I observed that he seemed prepared for the game. However, at that moment, they believed it would be beneficial to let him go out on loan; this decision aligned with his wishes too, as he also desired more playing time.'
'But I always believed he would turn out to be incredible.'

Max Allister subsequently elaborated on his decision to choose Caicedo over Rice and Rodri.
'The primary point I want to make here is that physically, the toughest challenge presented by these players isCaicedo, whom I’d highlight first,' the Argentine stated.
'He is exceptionally well-rounded, both with and without the ball; he truly excels.'
'Declan ranks second; he's an outstanding player, followed by Rodri at third.'
'This statement does not imply that I undervalue Rodri; quite the contrary, I believe he deserved the Ballon d'Or. For instance, he is an exceptional player yet not a tough competitor since he rarely has possession of the ball. Instead, he typically makes quick passes with only one or two touches, making it nearly impossible to approach him.'
'If you were to ask me who the superior player is, I'd point to Rodri; however, the most challenging opponent to face would be Moi Caicedo.'
