NDCS and Yuyi Ink Sign Pact to Boost AI in Oral Health Worldwide

Key initiatives include early detection, research, teledentistry, and treatment support.
National Dental Centre Singapore (NDCS) and Yuyi Dental Pte Ltd have signed a memorandum of understanding to leverage artificial intelligence (AI) in enhancing population health screening and clinical oral health care.
The partners will focus on four initiatives, namely early gum disease detection, oral health research for children, teledentistry for seniors, and orthodontic treatment support.
Furthermore, Yuyi intends to set up the Oral Health Innovation Fund and supply 100 iOoeli oral scanners to help enhance Singapore’s dental care infrastructure.
"Through the incorporation of AI-enhanced imaging in our clinical and public health efforts, this partnership brings us nearer to an era of dental care where smart technologies and evidence-based analytics foster prevention, support timely interventions, and enhance overall treatment results," stated NDCS CEO, Goh Bee Tin.
