Jeddah Chamber of Commerce: Urging Over 183,000 Firms to Invest in Sudan

Representatives from the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce expressed strong backing for the Republic of Sudan during this crucial period, declaring their willingness to motivate over 183,000 businesses affiliated with the chamber to explore investment opportunities in Sudan.

This occurred during the visit of the Consul General of the Republic of Sudan in Jeddah, Ambassador Kamal Ali Osman, to the Chamber’s headquarters on Wednesday.

Ambassador Osman was welcomed by Chairman Mohammed Yousef Naghi of the Chamber's Board of Directors, alongside both Vice-Chairmen and various members from the Executive Committee and the General Secretariat.

The Saudi delegation expressed appreciation for Sudan's rebuilding initiatives, stating they were fully prepared to back the Consulate General’s endeavors in this area.

Ambassador Osman stated in a SUNA release that his trip aimed at bolstering mutual ties and broadening economic and commercial collaboration between Sudan and Saudi Arabia. He highlighted the objective as fostering strategic alliances beneficial for both nations' shared prosperity. The Ambassador further mentioned, “Our discussions centered around improving coordination between both parties to benefit businesses and pave way for broader avenues of investment, especially considering the robust kinship linking these two states.”
