On Monday, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami announced that the state administration is offering scholarships to students belonging to the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe communities from first grade through twelfth grade. Additionally, fifteen hostels, five boarding schools, and three Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) are operating at no charge for these students. They will also receive complimentary tutoring along with a monthly stipend aimed at helping them excel in competitive exams.
Chief Minister Dhami mentioned that efforts are underway to rescue children engaged in beggary and guide them toward education. Additionally, initiatives are being taken to provide skill-development training to young people and adults, helping them secure self-employment opportunities. (ANI)
