PIB Fact Checker Debunks Fake Letter: DRDO Denies Alleged BrahMos Missile Components Failure

New Delhi [India], May 8 (ANI): The Fact Check unit of the Press Information Bureau (PIB) on Thursday exposed a fake Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) letter which is being circulated online alleging a failure in BrahMos missile components.

The Fact Check team on X posted, "A message signed by Dr. A.S. Kumar from the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) is circulating online claiming issues with parts of the BrahMos missiles. This document is false. The DRDO in India has not released any such statement. Additionally, there is no individual named A.S. Kumar associated with the Armament Research & Development Establishment (ARDE)."
